What I do

Ovens are the whole job — not a side line

I'm a specialist, not a generalist. It's the only thing I do, and after eight years of other people's baked-on grease, there's not much that surprises me.

Single oven cleaning

Single oven

Racks and trays out to soak, the cavity degreased by hand, door glass polished till it's properly clear again. Done at your place — no van trips, no loan ovens.

  • Full interior deep clean, including the glass
  • Racks, shelves and trays cleaned
  • Checked over when it's back together
  • Honest advice on anything I spot

Doubles, ranges & wall ovens

Doubles & ranges

Freestanding range cookers, double cavities and built-in wall units all get the same proper treatment. Doors come off where they can — that's how the glass gets truly clean.

  • Every cavity done properly, top to bottom
  • Doors carefully removed and deep-cleaned
  • No job written off as "too far gone" without a look first

Hobs & rangehoods

By arrangement

Lots of customers ask me to do the hob or rangehood while I'm there — often I can. Flick me a message with what you've got and I'll give you a straight yes or no.

  • Quoted case by case, before you commit
  • No pressure either way — ask me anything

How I clean

A proper deep clean, with gentle products

No quick wipe-over while you wait. Your oven comes apart so every part of it gets attention — then it goes back together checked and ready to cook in.

  1. Everything comes apart. Racks, shelves, trays — and doors where they lift off (see the photo).
  2. A long soak in gentle, eco-friendly solution shifts grease that's been baking for years.
  3. The cavity, door and glass get hand-degreased, corner to corner.
  4. Rinsed, dried and reassembled — I run a quick check so dinner's safe to cook.

My products are eco-friendly because it's your kitchen — no harsh chemical smells hanging around afterwards.

Before & after — real local ovens

No stock photos, no filters. These are jobs I've done in kitchens around Canterbury, straight off my phone.

BeforeBefore: a white enamel oven cavity splattered with old grease
Years of baked-on grease… the sort of oven people apologise for when they book.
AfterAfter: the same white enamel oven interior restored to bright white
…back to bright, clean enamel. Real jobs from real kitchens — nothing staged on this site.
BeforeA severely burnt oven interior with charred racks — one labelled example
Written off as "too far gone"? This one had seen some serious dinners.
AfterA spotless oven interior with gleaming clean racks — a separate labelled example
The payoff every time. Different kitchens, same happy ending — hopeless cases are honestly my favourites.

Genuine before-and-afters from my Facebook page — real Canterbury kitchens, lightly cropped only. Nothing staged on this site.

Common questions

Fair questions, honest answers

What does an oven clean cost?

Every oven is different, so I quote before I start — and the price I quote is the price you pay. Flick me a photo or two of your oven and I'll give you a straight answer. Affordable is the whole point of my business, not a bait line.

How long does it take?

Allow a couple of hours for most ovens. Ones that haven't been touched in years take longer — those are honestly my favourites — and I'd rather do it properly than quickly.

Are your products really eco-friendly?

Yes — gentle, eco-friendly products, and no harsh chemical smells hanging around your kitchen afterwards. It's your home; I treat it that way.

Do you clean hobs and rangehoods too?

By arrangement, often yes — it depends on what you've got. Send me a message or a photo and I'll tell you straight away whether it's something I can help with.

Which areas do you cover?

I'm based in Darfield and clean right across the district — Kirwee, Rolleston, West Melton, Hornby and out to Christchurch. If you're unsure whether you're in range, just ask; worst case I'll tell you honestly rather than leave you guessing.

How do I book?

Ring or text 021 054 4661, message me on Facebook, or use the form on this site. Whichever suits you.

That oven isn't going to clean itself.

Sadly true — I've checked. Ring, text or flick me a message and we'll sort a time that suits you.
